#WhatItTakesToBeADesigner

What does it take to be a designer? Well. All you need is to follow these simple steps and you'll be close to being one (Let's put aside the artistic flair in you, whether you have it or not). Believe it or not. Trust me, it only takes 4 simple rules to being a designer.

#1 | ALWAYS THINK DESIGN. THAT'S DESIGN THINKING.

"Design thinking is a discipline that uses the designer's sensibility and methods to match people's needs with what is technologically feasible and what a viable business strategy can convert into customer value and market opportunity" - Tim Brown, Ideo.

In short, it's the process of anal-ism. Where people starts to get anal and push things more than it's limit. And yes, it's also pushing one's limits: testing the patience of one. What does one benefit from being anal? YOU GIVE AN ATTITUDE. You want things your way, you expect a lot more on yourself and if thinks don't go your way, you give an attitude.

#2 | ATTITUDE.

Well, you can always have an attitude like those models have. *shows smirk on face*

Or just heck care about everything and point that sacred finger out.

Well, let me tell you the essence of what you should have in an attitude.

1 | Never say yes to what people want. Say no, no and still no. Remember, having an attitude makes you "cool".

2 | Do not smile. Smiling kills the attitude. Just imagine Mr Bean smiling and saying "What you staring at?". You will look so uncool. And yes, that's not the silly attitude that you want.

3 | Roll your eyes. Always roll your eyes when you think to differ. It not only cuts down on you say "Whatever" (Save some saliva) but also tells the party that he/she should just get out of your sight. Just keep rolling and rolling~ work that magic.

4 | Never been nice. Why be nice? being nice kills you. People tend to take advantage when you're nice. So, think of how much you hate them, then follow step number 3. *roll eyes*

#3 | DRESS LIKE A DESIGNER.

It's always important to dress up well for all ocassions: School, home, hang out, chill out, funeral etc. ALWAYS LOOK GOOD. The first impression counts. Think visual more than verbal.

Choose your favorite outfit. Preferably something that shows less skin. Showing too much skin is mainstream. Remember, you wanna be substream. So, cover as much skin as you can. A good example will be one like the picture above, all covered up. She's looking all sexy and cool huh.

Go for something a little more dramatic on every Wednesday. It's the day the week starts to get a little boring so dress up for school or work! Floral would make you a little sexier yet maintaining the cool so why not. Get a floral dress and go as dramatic as you can. Always remember, the more the merrier~

Heels are the IT thing. It makes every girl go screaming (And maybe a little violence). Think design, think McQueen. Never tell yourself how painful it will be to endure that pain you will suffer with that killer heels. Girls, you got to make that work somehow, even if it means to break your limb.

Never forget to accessorize yourself. Some bling will do the job. Throw away the diamond or pearl studs. MAKE IT BIG. Think design, think GAGA. Never let your ears or neck go bare. You got to fill them up. Fill as much as you can. Don't let any bare space off. FILL THEM UP.

Let's just go simple for the guys. Think design, think dramatic. Live your life like you're living in broadway or hollywood, walking that red carpet everyday. Make that journey from home to school/work your runway. Kill them all with your walk.

#4 | SWAG IT.

Hipnotize yourself, tell yourself how cool you are everyday when you wake up, and before you sleep.

Me: "Mirror mirror on the wall, I'm the coolest of all. Now tell me, who's the coolest of all."
Mirror: "Gaga."
EPITOME FAIL.

Always be photo ready. Have that swag captured. Forget about saying cheese. Remember rule number 3: show that attitude. *sulk face*

Or, just stare.

Abide to the 4 simple rules and if you're a guy, just wait and you'll get all the hot girls coming your way.

I hope these simple instructions shine some light in you. It's really simple if you know how to.
