Vacation 101 + New table and Stool + Marimos.

It's the vacation (3 weeks only) and as usual, I've many things listed down to complete before the vacation ends. Well, it always happen the same way every vacation, I'll be busy either working or with school work and end up not completing any of the tasks.

This vacation will strictly be spent wisely on submissions, my 1:1 scale model, and hopefully some personal time to complete some of the task.

Well, I should totally list down all the things I want to complete by vacation ends, and I might just share it will my readers here. Damn, I'll never be done listing them down.

Yesterday I headed down to ikea and finally got my new table that I wanted for so long. But then, I realized I got the wrong size. The table I wanted should be 1750mm in width and I accidentally got the 1500mm one, which doesn't make a big difference in size. Well, at least I got a new table, I emphasize wooden cause I've always wanted a table in wood instead of glass, and I'm sure it will work well with me.

The amount of furnitures I've gotten (Which includes momsy's) and it only cost 197 bucks.

How sweet of momsy to fix the stool for me awww. :) I bet she had a hard time screwing it. Sorry, I was really tired from moving and walking about ikea for 5 whole hours.

Wood laminate veneer table + white legs. I really wanted the pinewood one though. Momsy strongly object me from getting that cause it was meant to be a kitchen table. Pinewood wear and tear with time, and it looks super good with the scars of time.

Well, that's the look of my table and stool now. I've to say, I'm not satisfied with how the table look now cause it just look plain, not even minimalist. Throughout this vacation I'm surely going to spend some time (And cash) doing something about my table and stool. :)

Also I've bought two Marimos from Orchard Central and I'm loving it! It's way too cute to resist. I wish I had bigger ones though. Marimos are very easy, very, to maintain and take care of cause it only requires very little care. However, they grow only 5mm a year, which means it will look almost the same for many many years damn.

I've changed it into a big jar from ikea, assuming that I'l get a few more Marimos anytime soon. And if you're wondering why there's three Marimo balls instead of two, it's because I tore one of the Marimo balls into two. I read online and it says for the balls to grow bigger, you tear them apart blah blah blah. I wasn't even concentrating on the other details.

That's all for today. I might be heading down to Serangoon North or Clementi to get more Marimos later! See ya.
